Cakewalk MA-15D monitors feature a built-in bass enhancer that operates on psychoacoustic principles. It converts low frequencies into a series of overtones that the human ear cannot distinguish from the original low frequencies. Thus the listener perceives bass frequencies below the normal range of the speaker cones. If you need even more low end, the MA-15D has a sub out jack.

For digital sources, Cakewalk MA-15Ds are equipped with a S/PDIF jack (optical and coaxial), and support up to 24-bit/192kHz sources. Thus, an unadulterated audio signal is delivered to the power amplifier so you hear exactly what you have recorded!

Volume and tone controls are conveniently located on the front panel. The MA-15D monitor allows direct connection of 2 sources, such as your computer and stereo. One volume knob controls the first source, the other affects the RCA and digital inputs.

You can also plug in headphones, which automatically defeats the speakers for silent mixing. Magnetic shielding allows to place the Cakewalk MA-15D speakers in close proximity to your computer monitor.
